"What a gem of a site! I live in Australia but "inverness" is a word that takes me back to childhood memories of my grandmother saying that her mother's family came from Inverness. That always fascinated me - I visited in 1969 and three times in the last few years. Just recently I discovered that my G-G-Grandfather was a tailor who lived in Tomnahurich Street in 1841."
