Lucille, I think you have Eric Maclennan wrong. This looks very like the late Murdo Maclennan who was a Police Sergeant in Invergordon and died in a very tragic boating accident last summer. I think his father was Bert Maclennan the coal man. I am pretty sure that is Murdo Maclennan and not Eric as you say.

Hi Lucille. It's a long time since I heard Fraser being called Sophie, but yes he did marry Ishbel. I was at their wedding in Tain, many years ago. Last I heard they were out in Dubai, or some other exotic piece of Middle East real estate.

Yes, you are right Eddie..I got the line-up mixed up. I knew Murdo well as I grew up just along from Harbour House. Was that your auntie Margaret Taylor who passed away recently? I recall you lived down the bottom of the High St. across from Bissetts? I remember Etta Taylor too. Glad you remembered "Sophie". Hope you and yours are all well.

Hi Lucille, Etta (Jean) was my mother, and Margaret was my aunt. I lived in 32 High Street until 1967, on and off for the last few years as I had joined the Merchant Navy after leaving school. I knew Murdo well as he, Ron Stewart and myself used to spend a lot of time out on the water after school hours - didn't matter whether it was summer or winter. I have been happily married since 1969 and now live in Houston Texas. Our two sons are over here with us. Looks like you still live in or close to Invergordon.

Hi Eddie, think I remember you as being a regular at the outdoor swimming pool which has so many happy memories for all original Invergordonians. Great times!. Yes, I still live close to Inverg. and mam is still going wonderfully strong in her 96th year...what stories she can tell...like when Inverg. had 4 cinemas!!!! Sadly, we have none now!! Myself and Clayton just celebrated our Ruby anniversary, have 3 children, 7 grand-children and expecting our 3rd great-grandchild in a few months time. Our oldest son (Clayton Jnr.) is site manager for UMAX based in Alabama and has also been based in Houston, Texas. He loves the life out there and we hope to "bring in the bells" with him in Alabama this hogmanay. (If my dear boss will let me have time off in January!! ) Regards to the family.

Lucille - you probably don't remember me but I remember you! I think you knew my sister Shirley Booth better? I remember you working in the YMCA - am I right? We sometimes went for a meal there and you worked there as a waitress? You were so pretty - (I remember you had lovely hair), so 'in fashion' for the time. I always associated Chuck Berry's song 'Lucille' with you and was envious that you could relate to that song, whereas I only had 'the Heather Bells are Blooming and the like"!!! It's just brilliant to hear that you and Clayton (I remember him as being Wallace's 'younger brother') have celebrated your Ruby Anniversary - many congratulations! Well done!

Lucille, I don't think you will remember me but I remember you. My brother Frank is in this photo. I have been in Australia since 1968 when I came here to play football. I wanted to wish you all the best and I pray you will overcome this setback. Keep on keeping on Lucille, you are in my thoughts.

Pamela Aitken left Invergordon Academy and joined my class at Bathgate Academy when her parents got jobs at the then B.M.C. factory in Bathgate. We became friends. I believe she is back in the Invergodon area now. She married George Anderson. I would dearly love to hear how she is. Norma Brogan, Livingston
