Fairy Glen

Denuded Fairy Glen circa 1905. The area in the front used to be where the linen was bleached after it had been woven. The mill race is at the left hand side.

Note the Hoodoo (Canadian name), the clay pillar which I remember having a pine tree on top. Why doesn�t somebody clean out the millpond as it was in the 50�s when it held good sized brown trout?
